2. Notification No. – 01/23 – Customs (N.T.) dated 04th January 2023.
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs hereby makes the amendment in Notification 61/94-Customs (N.T.) whereby in the table after serial number 15A – Serial Number 15B shall be inserted of the State/Union Territory – Tripura, Airport – Agartala, and purpose is unloading of baggage and loading of baggage.

The Central excise seeks to increase the Special Additional excise duty on production of Petroleum Crude to Rs.2100/- from Rs.1700 and export of Aviation Turbine fuel to Rs. 4.50/- per litre to 1.50/- per litre.

The Central excise seeks to increase the Special Additional Excise duty on Diesel to Rs. 5.00 per litre whereas previously it was Rs.3.50/- per litre.

1. Public Notice No. – 48/2015-20- dated 05th January 2023.
(i) Para 2.56 has been amended to highlight mandatory physical presence of inspectors at place of inspection.
(ii) Format of PSIC has been amended to underline the PSIC shall be issued by inspector from country of inspection only.
(iii) 15 Agencies are notified as PSIA, additional instruments have been added 1 exisitng PSIA and additional areas of operation have been added for 07 existing PSIA’s.
